I am in Miami Beach for today's Orange Bowl. Iowa is looking to curb stomp those Yellow Gnats of Nerd Tech. Of course my luck, weather is unseasonably chilly and could be coldest the Orange Bowl ever.
Haws Poon was out in full force last night as the Iowa coeds were tearing up the dance floor at the Clevelander. I got some extra saucy videos to upload later.
My brain is fried and it is time to Tailgate.

Yo San Fran Rap: "We are the Niners"
The following hilarious 1980's rap video by the San Francisco 49ers has it all: big hats and Risky Business shades, silly lyrics, ugly sweaters, Hall of Fame players, Atari like graphics, and ridiculous cheesy dance choreography. It will bring some major funny on a Munday morning.
This chorus line will be stuck in my head all day.
"We are the Niners, don't get in our way, Team of 80s, We came to play!"
Big Props to YouTube Reviewed for the sick find.

The First Down Yellow Line
This is a cool video description of how the yellow first down line works during football games.

In Heaven There is No Beer
I took my crappy photo shop skills to a screen shot of ESPN's website. God Bless You Daniel Murray. I hope you are still higher than the crowd at a Snoop Dogg concert.
Here is the Hawkeye band performing the beer song in a Iowa City pub.
Back in my glory drunken years of college academia, the University banned the band from singing the words to the beer song because some local bible beating teacher complained.
Of course, this led to every student yelling the words of the song at the next basketball game and eventually, the band was allowed to sing again.
The band immediately goes into the song after every basketball and football victory. (Yes, to the Big 10 haters out there, please insert the obligatory Iowa sucks joke here)
This next video shows how Iowa gets selected to higher bowls than their on the field performance deserves because they travel so damn well.
This post was dedicated to my boy, the Hoff Daddy, who likely has not came down from Saturday's upset high and he is still yelling "Go Hawks" to every Husker fan in Omaha.

poor Iowa State.

Bruins Knocked Out
USC crushed UCLA's Rose Bowl hopes and head coach Karl Dorrell was canned shortly afterwards. This video sums up the state of Bruin football.

Sad Day in Skins Nation
This blog is usually full of tongue and cheek commentary with my futile attempts at humor. I rarely have serious overtones unless I am ranting about our inept government leaders.
I felt the need to honor Sean Taylor after his passing this morning from a gun shot wound. My only wish was that Taylor would have gave interviews and talked to the media more so I would have a better first hand sense of his personality.
All of those close to him describe what a cool cat he was and how much he had matured over the years. Plus, he was having the best season of his career and he appeared to be becoming a vocal leader on the Redskins team.
Taylor's past incidents with the law over 2 years ago are highly irrelevant so please ignore the media's incessant need to rehash them like they just happened or are apply to this individual tragedy. The "he had this coming" to him angle is simply deplorable.
I am not even a Skins fan either.
Taylor died performing the honorable deed of protecting his loved ones from attack. He should be admired and cherished. Whether it is a professional football player, a US soldier overseas, or a ordinary person, 24 years old is way too early for a life to end.
My heart goes out to everyone involved with Skins nation and I will pour some out this evening for number 21.
In tribute of his memory, I found some video clips of Taylor.
I would have more clips of Taylor but the NFL hates their product being promoted for free on You Tube and yanks highlight videos that fans make. I guess that I am lucky to be in the 1/3 of America that will actually get to see the Cowboys/Packers game on Thursday night by having the NFL network.
Pissing off your loyal fans/customers is an awful business model and it is probably the same one that the Big 10 network is following.
Monopolies fight, consumers lose.
UPDATE: As you can tell the NFL has already taking down 2 of the highlight videos. Nice Work: National Greed League. I was pissed when you made blogger take down my post about Bob Sanders but this has crossed over the line.
Hey NGL, football fans/aka people that line the pockets of your enterprise want to see videos of one of your star players that was tragically killed but protecting your commercial interests are more important to you.
No one is making money of watching football highlights of Sean Taylor on You Tube. Get over your greedy selves.
F YOU NGL!

Sexiest Soccer Game Ever
I have no idea how this blog turned in to me just posting videos of hot chicks along with my juvenile banter. I promise to offer more than these shallow lazy topics in the future but dudes, these chicks are smoking! Plus, they are rolling around in mud!
I never thought I would actually regret growing up in the US playing QB rather than spending my formative years being a midfielder or goalkeeper in Europe. This video really makes me want to be a Euro.
I could chain smoke, sip strong java, pound dark beer, listen to House music, loathe GW Bush and rip apart dumb fat Americans. Hell, it sounds like what I do already. Plus, I might be willing to change my mind about wearing those tight HM jeans too.
My man Jimmy over at CNNSI's Extra Mustard Hot Clicks could be right that Mac G's World is doing more to promote the sport of soccer in America than David Beckham ever will be able to accomplish
Well, trust me, if soccer keeps rolling these type of videos out, consider their PR popularity mission to be on a upward SWING!
After watching this, who does not want to go slide tackle in the mud? I know these images and lyrics will be in your head all day.
"Keep on jumpin,
Let your body fly,
Everybody jumpin,
Til you see the sun in the sky,
Keep on jumpin,
Let your body fly,
Everybody jumpin,
Til the morning light"

"Mute Button Please?"
I should not have posted this video but it is a girl with a football in a bikini. I am that easy. Just mute the sound on this and visualize a bag over the Paula Jones look-alike's head. Trust Me. Have a great weekend. Booze, Bitches, Ball, and Blackouts. In any order. Word, Mac G.

Only Highlight from NFL Game in UK
I do not think a Giants 13-10 win over the Fins in a mud slop fest is what NFL Commish Roger Goddell had in mind when he drew up this NFL game in Europe. I would rather watch a nil, nil futbol match than this American football version crap fest. The offensively challenged snoozer did provide one comedic highlight to keep the Euros in attendance entertained. Check out the hilarious clip and Britain, I will trade you back Beckham and his wife for this streaker. Thanks to Pop Rocks for the video.
