Pack Lose to Cowgirls, Hey Refs, TAKE THAT!

Currently, my head feels as discombobulated as Bryant Gumbel's throat. Get that man some red bulls to pound during a broadcast, dude was killing me last night.
I should have picked up some light beer last night for the big game because chugging dark microbeer always leaves you extra groggy in the morning. Pick up a 12 pack of Magic Hat's "Feast of Fools" winter beer as it is quite delicious.
What a crazy, entertaining game last night and since I am nut job Cheese head, I was not too happy with the outcome. The Cowboys Offensive Line dominated the Packers leaving Romo all day to slice up Green Bay's shoty coverage and Packers played their worst defensive game all season.
Ultimately, the Cowboys made more plays than the Pack but man oh man, Green Bay was screwed on several huge game changing calls.
Al Harris picked the ball away from TO and the refs signaled Green Bay's ball, however, some dumb ass official blew the play dead and they could not overturn the call on replay. Truly a HORRIBLE call that I did not think could be topped until the 4th quarter.
The Cowboys were up 3 and threw a bomb down the field. WR and DB feet got tangled as the DB was looking back at the ball. The ref 10 feet from the play does not throw a flag as it was your typical no call but all of sudden a flag came out from 40 yards away from the incident! TheCowboys get the ball at the Packers 5 and score a crucial TD.
I am tired of these old refs in their 40s and 50s making these decisions and I think it is time to have some young blood aka, guys with better reflexes than these jokers.
Packers down 10, driving with 5 minutes left. Ryan Clark gets a horrible spot on a 3rd down run and he is clearly past the marker. This sets up a 4th down decision on the Cowboys 34 yard line I hate to invoke his name or this question, but "What would Bill Bellicheck do?"
Of course he would go for it but McCarthy decides to be a pussy and kick a FG. I understand the Packers still would need 2 scores no matter what but kicking a long FG instead of going for it on 4th and inches tells me that you are putting the onus on the defense to stop them.
However, The Packers D had not been able to do that very well all game. Plus, scoring a TD in that situation gives the team momentum and allows the possibility to hold Dallas to a FG but still be within one score.
Packers kick to cut the lead to 7. Dallas gets the ball and runs out most of the clock, kicking a FG to make the final outcome, 37-27
The Packers still could have won this game but they deserved to lose it as well. Allowing Dallas a first down on 3rd&19 from their own 5 was the biggest play of the game. Pack could not tackle Barber or cover Witten late in the game.
If the Packers can secure the second seed, they will be back in Dallas for a rematch. I am hoping number 4 will be healthy or Aaron Rodgers, "The Mullet with a Bullet," will keep up his surprising stellar play.
Check out this blog that breaks down the crappy calls against the Packers.

HURRY and Watch!

I am still steaming over the media's coverage of Sean Taylor's tragic death and the National Greed League's continual decision to yank Taylor highlight videos off of You Tube. I have a blog posts coming on both of these topics very soon.
I just found a new video and it is pretty BAD A$$ just like the Boom King. Hurry Up and watch before the NGL's copyright minions contact You Tube, screaming infringement of their product.
However, the National Greed League will still take your money for Taylor's jerseys but you can not watch your favorite videos of a dead man.
Classless, Pathetic, Predictable, Typical.
I advocate boycotting buying any Taylor memorabilia straight from the NGL's website. You can purchase these cool items here, with the proceeds going to Taylor's family not to 31 billionaires' pockets. Check out this link for Taylor goods on Ebay.

Seminole SLAAAAAAAAAP!
Florida State Seminole fan is still pissed about the A$$ kicking or should I say being "Tewboned" by the Florida Gators last weekend. Here is visual evidence to their desperate, crazed state of mind.
Oh, this video has everything that I love/miss about my cube college: hot poon, game days, drunken debauchery, stupid frat boy type pranks, tailgating. Did I mention hot poon? Oh Yes.

Bad College Sucks?
I just found this hilarious Aqua Teen Hunger Force Video about the BCS and Eli Manning on With Leather. Oh, I want to add F You Elijah for throwing 3 picks for scores on Sunday against the Vikings. I was eliminated from the first round of my fantasy football playoffs because I lost to the team with Vikings D.
3 Fn Scores? I am still sick but at least I am not stuck being a Giants fan. Eli is not the answer, period. Time to put Fatty Jared Lorenzen in yet? NY media is about to have a field day if Eli continues to sail ducks on simple 15 yard in routes.

William Hung Sighting
My favorite part of watching American Idol, other than to see what words a blitzed Paula Abdul will mix up, is the beginning of the season where a large portion of the Idol wannabees suck big time.
It is high comedy, especially when they think that they are actually good or getting screwed by Simon. I do not even have any empathy at all for them because I can not sing a lick so why would I enter a televised singing contest?
The original poster boy for American Idol delusional stardom was William Hung. You remember, "She Bangs, She Bangs, She Moves, She Moves."
I am too lazy to research about Hung's current whereabouts over the past few years but I do remember him cashing in on his 15 minutes by recording an album.
Hung is back and check out this video of him singing at halftime of the California/Washington football game. Oh, Hung attended Cal and is sporting Washington gear while "performing" at Husky Stadium. Traitor.
I wonder what the Berkeley hippies in those trees think about this turn coat development? Riot starting on Telegraph Ave in 1, 2, 3.....
Just in case you needed your William Hung memory refreshed.
If people like Hung score hot poon in america, no wonder the world still hates us. Oh, those other 2 weird looking Idol rejects received a job covering the Super Bowl last year.
I rest my case.
Update: I guess Hung attended Cal but still very bush league.

Sad Day in Skins Nation
This blog is usually full of tongue and cheek commentary with my futile attempts at humor. I rarely have serious overtones unless I am ranting about our inept government leaders.
I felt the need to honor Sean Taylor after his passing this morning from a gun shot wound. My only wish was that Taylor would have gave interviews and talked to the media more so I would have a better first hand sense of his personality.
All of those close to him describe what a cool cat he was and how much he had matured over the years. Plus, he was having the best season of his career and he appeared to be becoming a vocal leader on the Redskins team.
Taylor's past incidents with the law over 2 years ago are highly irrelevant so please ignore the media's incessant need to rehash them like they just happened or are apply to this individual tragedy. The "he had this coming" to him angle is simply deplorable.
I am not even a Skins fan either.
Taylor died performing the honorable deed of protecting his loved ones from attack. He should be admired and cherished. Whether it is a professional football player, a US soldier overseas, or a ordinary person, 24 years old is way too early for a life to end.
My heart goes out to everyone involved with Skins nation and I will pour some out this evening for number 21.
In tribute of his memory, I found some video clips of Taylor.
I would have more clips of Taylor but the NFL hates their product being promoted for free on You Tube and yanks highlight videos that fans make. I guess that I am lucky to be in the 1/3 of America that will actually get to see the Cowboys/Packers game on Thursday night by having the NFL network.
Pissing off your loyal fans/customers is an awful business model and it is probably the same one that the Big 10 network is following.
Monopolies fight, consumers lose.
UPDATE: As you can tell the NFL has already taking down 2 of the highlight videos. Nice Work: National Greed League. I was pissed when you made blogger take down my post about Bob Sanders but this has crossed over the line.
Hey NGL, football fans/aka people that line the pockets of your enterprise want to see videos of one of your star players that was tragically killed but protecting your commercial interests are more important to you.
No one is making money of watching football highlights of Sean Taylor on You Tube. Get over your greedy selves.
F YOU NGL!

Happy Cyber Monday

I hope everyone is fatter around the waist and lighter in the wallet. A soaked liver is probably expected as well.
There has been so much news to chew over the past few days that I do not where to start. Senator Trent Lott quits for no real reason. I hope he is not a foot tapper like his Singing Senator buddy Craig.
Skins safety Sean Taylor is in a coma after being shot twice.
Here is my favorite hit by Taylor in the pro bowl. I hope Taylor makes it through everything.
The Huskers fired Billy C(Check out the sweet picture above of him driving away after getting canned) and AD TO has been flying around in a boosters plane interviewing candidates. LSU's DC, Bo Pelini and Buffalo head coach, Turner Gill are the first 2 names on the list. Wake Forrest, Jim Grobe's name has been rumored too.
Michigan has reportedly offered Iowa's coach Kirk Ferentz their job. My Hawks can not beat Western Michigan at home on senior day but somehow Michigan wants Ferentz? Let just say, Wolverine nation will not be pleased if Ferentz is hired.
I could waste the whole day going off on both of the Husker/Hawkeye coaching topics but for now I will limit my rants to my buddies on email chains/IMs.
Mizzou is number one and Chase Daniels is amazing.
A&M is going to hire Mike Sherman?Aside from Pete Carroll and Al Groh's lucky 07 season, NFL retread coaches have not worked out that well in big time college football. GTech's Gailey and Billy C's recent walking papers support this theory. Wanny is not tearing things up at Pitt either.
As a life long Packer fan, have fun with Sherman's conservative play calling in Aggie land.
OU will beat Mizzou and WV/Ohio St title game is looming. The crappy BSC system strikes again.
Happy Cyber Monday!

My Dream Last Night
People that know me personally could say I have a sports addiction. They might think that following 5 fantasy football teams with 2 laptops running with Live Scoring and 3 TVs in my living room hooked up with every football package is a tad bit extreme. Most dudes think it is a form of weekend heaven.
Maybe the addiction part is true but it sure is better a vice than smoking meth or popping Hill Billy Heroin.
Plus, it is not my fault that I have dreams like this every night.
If I am not able to post again before I fly back to the square flat states to get fat and drunk, have a great Tday. GOBBLE GOBBLE!

Pac 10 Poon Fight
I was recently labeled my man at Big Ten Tailgate to be the Godfather of Tail with a PHD in Poon. How can a poon lover argue with this type of genuine flattery? It did turn my face red but this was due to me spitting up my Cabernet all over myself in joyous bewilderment.
I know, wine, "Mac G, you yuppy, $^&! " 3 Buck Chuck at Trader Joe's will make you appreciate wine like you never have before, or just have you guzzle a bottle every night.
My pooner responsibilities have been taking away from Mac G's World. I know my readership, now sputtered upward in to the teens, feels the ramifications of these developments.
Well, I have found a way to display the sweet spot between the two by showing one of the best You Tube videos that I have ever found. A Pac 10 Pooner Cat fight.
The production of this video with its music, captions, slow mo is simply amazing. The breakdown of the flying pooner elbows made my side hurt in laughter. Bravo, Poon Fight Video Man, Brav FN O! Enjoy.

Motor Boats with Nikki
I promised weeks ago not to post any more about the Nebraska football team this year until a new coach was hired.
Well, if president Bush can give speeches last week arguing for fiscal restraint while the national debt has nearly doubled to 9 trillion under his watch, I can rescind my little Nebraska Cornhusker moratorium.
The 2007 college football season has been a downright debacle for Husker nation and unless you have been volunteering in the Peace Corps, most sports fans are well aware of Nebraska's current grid iron troubles.
The following video highlights everything that is wrong and right with Husker fans.
Bear with me on this video after 2 minutes as Nikki's free motorboats are totally worth enduring the annoying Katy girl in the beginning.
I think I have been watching too much Dexter recently as I had negative thoughts of duck tapping Katy's mouth until Nikki's motorboats soothed my soul.
If only Nikki could distract the opponents Oline, while the Huskers rushed the passer and the D might be able to actually touch the QB on a consistent basis. Damn, I tried to get through this whole post without breaking down any husker football.
More Motorboats please? Whew, much better. Check them out for yourself.
Props to Ike Stranathan at www.ikeFilm.com for this well needed Husker medication.
Notorious DEK hooked me up with this video and I had him provide me with some great one word adjectives to describe these passionate husker chicks.
Katy: irrational, bi-polar, psychotic tendencies, unmedicated, a few sandwiches short of a picnic, nuttier than squirrel shit, manson follower, makes mike gundy/jim mora/howard dean seem rational and calm...
Nikki- voluptuous, caring, giving, supple, angelic, the Mother Teresa of the husker nation
Mother Teresa of Motorboats. Awesome.

Hoya Ugg Poon

I attended the Georgetown/Michigan game last night at the Verizon Center. The game was over before I sat down and took the first sip out of my 7 dollar beer. The greatest perk about college teams playing in pro arenas is the ability to buy beer. Take that NCAA!
Anyway, Gtown smoked them and Michigan could not throw it in the Ocean. The Hoyas have way more polished athletes than the Wolverines. It looks like a long rebuilding season in Ann Arbor for first year coach John Beilen.
The game details are not really that important but what did impress me the most was the abundance of nice Hoya poon. I really underestimated Gtown's coeds.
Also, the new in style thing for girls is to wear these Ugg boots, no matter the outfit. Jeans, Skirt, you name it. Almost all the hot Hoya poon were wearing Uggs and I spotted other pretty ladies girls wearing them as well. I like this phenomenon as much as the short poofy skirts craze from a few years ago.
My cell phone needs a better a zoom and my poon ninja skills were off so I was unable to get any real good full poon shots. I did snap a picture as example of these Ugg boots.
Look around this weekend and tell me how many you spot. I smell they need for a nick name and possible blog for these sightings. Any takers? I have reached my pooner limit.
Happy Friday Fockers.

Wacky Wildcat Thursday

(Above Pix Courtesy of Pac Ten Poon)
November 15th turned out to be a crazy sports day with Bonds being indicted, Arod agreeing to terms with Yankees, and Oregon losing its grasp on one of the pole position spots for the BCS title game.
Something just smells fishy with this whole Bonds thing. I know my opinion is a minority one but 4 years for a grand jury on a perjury charge seems quite excessive and a waste of government resources.
Then again this is the US Justice Department that we are discussing and their reputation in 2007 is lower than Bonds’ or the president's approval ratings.
Maybe this indictment came about because Bonds’ trainer Greg Anderson finally decided to spill the beans on shooting Barry up as Anderson was let out of jail yesterday. I have bunch of Selig/MLB/White House conspiracy theories that I will keep to myself for now.
However, the lesson to be learned is DO NOT LIE TO THE FEDS, Period!
Marion Jones, Scooter Libby, and now Bonds could have used that advice.
What does Scott Boras feel like waking up today? I wonder what he is having for breakfast since he has so much egg on his face. ZING!
Granted, dude is loaded and cares less about my lowly opinion. Either this is some genius marketing ploy by Boras/Arod or Arod just publicly served his ass. I am going with the latter.
It’s a win, win for AROD. 275-300 million, longer contract and the ability to break the home run record as a Yankee. Punking Boras was the only way he could attempt to rescue his image from being the face of greed in America. Oh, Arod better keep mashing too.
My boy Scott commented to me that Boras would need Blackwater’s protection on his next visit to Manhattan. I agree and if you want more insight into the world of Super Agent Scott Boras read this fascinating New Yorker article from last month. After reading it, I could not determine if I hated Boras’ guts or if I admired his intelligent tenacity.

Could there have been a worse outcome for the Ducks last night? Lose the game, a shot at the national title, the Pac 10 conference lead, and their Heisman trophy candidate. OUCH!
My favorite part of the game other than the Ryan Leaf sighting was the Arizona students charging onto the field prematurely with 4 minutes left in the game. Thousands of them waited on the sidelines for at least 10-15 minutes.
How does this happen? I have charged a few fields in my day and you wait until the game is almost over.
I could not stop laughing as I was watched this Wildcat student, who was jumping around and had no shoes on, slap a Wildcat player on the shoulder pads “good job” as the player came off the playing field.
It was classic and I am still trying to find pictures/video of the students waiting on the sidelines. Here is the video from Awful Announcing of the students rushing the field as the game ended.
The party could still be raging in Tuscon as cocaine is a helluva drug.
I heart college football.

Williams College was a Bad Choice

Before I use the writers strike as an excuse to continue my literary procrastination, I wanted to delve into ESPN Gameday's awful decision to air their show at Williams College last Saturday.
I have given Gameday several shout outs on the pages of Mac G’s World this fall and deservedly so. It is one of few things that ESPN continually does very well. Finding a blog who gives ESPN credit is as rare these days as spotting a Bush/Cheney bumper sticker or an authentic FEMA press conference.
Seriously, Williams College? WTF.
In week 11 of the D1 college football season as conference races are being decided and the national title picture is becoming just a tad bit clearer, Gameday chooses to visit a D3 match up of small elitist liberal arts schools in nowhereville Mass? HUH?
Did an ESPN producer or executive attend of one of these 2 schools? The puzzling decision is downright laughable when you say it out loud to a buddy.
Over the years, the Gameday crew have become like rock stars with their tremendous popularity growth. Their show almost becomes as big as the event they are there covering. Students wait in lines forever and come up with clever signs.
The whole college community buzzes at their arrival. It is must see TV before viewing your favorite college team every Saturday.
I thought the whole point of the traveling Gameday crew was to capture the enthusiasm and environment of big time college football. You know, those games that the overwhelming majority of college football fans actually follow and watch!
The Gameday crew did not earn their rise to fame and relevancy in the college football world by telling fans what a great game something was because fans already knew that and their appearance just added to the game day experience.
I understand Williams/Amherst is the longest rivalry game in D3 or some crap. Cool, Neat, Super! Go send Desmond Howard up there during the week to do some 5 minute video package like you did earlier this season of Chadron State’s Danny Woodhead breaking the all time NCAA all divison rushing record.
If ESPN was looking for a sentimental choice ala Va Tech on the opening week then they should have chosen to take their show to the Orange Bowl for its last game ever. Corso, Fowler, and Herbstreet all gushed on air about their first hand experiences at the OB.
Granted Miami was blown out but I think you understand my point. Any one of these games would have been solid picks: Illinois/Ohio St, Auburn/Georgia, Kansas/Okie State, USC/Cal. Anywhere but Williamstown Mass.
It is bad enough that ESPN censors their online content, allows Tony Kornhieser to babble on MNF broadcasts, refuses to link to sports blogs, down plays steroid use by one of their ex-jock radio hosts, provides a constant stream of irrelevant OJ trial updates but now they are attempting to ruin one of the few top notch critically acclaimed things that fans still enjoy on ESPN.
In summary, Williams College was a Bad Choice.
The Gameday crew will be in Ann Arbor for the Mich/Ohio State game and I am fine with that selection. I just do not want to view anymore D3 ESPN football coverage until their national title game pops up at some random time next month on the Deuce.
Here are some pictures from other Gamedays this season, courtesy of my boy Joe, aka Tree, aka dude with the coolest job ever, aka Corso’s mascot bitch.

Sexiest Soccer Game Ever
I have no idea how this blog turned in to me just posting videos of hot chicks along with my juvenile banter. I promise to offer more than these shallow lazy topics in the future but dudes, these chicks are smoking! Plus, they are rolling around in mud!
I never thought I would actually regret growing up in the US playing QB rather than spending my formative years being a midfielder or goalkeeper in Europe. This video really makes me want to be a Euro.
I could chain smoke, sip strong java, pound dark beer, listen to House music, loathe GW Bush and rip apart dumb fat Americans. Hell, it sounds like what I do already. Plus, I might be willing to change my mind about wearing those tight HM jeans too.
My man Jimmy over at CNNSI's Extra Mustard Hot Clicks could be right that Mac G's World is doing more to promote the sport of soccer in America than David Beckham ever will be able to accomplish
Well, trust me, if soccer keeps rolling these type of videos out, consider their PR popularity mission to be on a upward SWING!
After watching this, who does not want to go slide tackle in the mud? I know these images and lyrics will be in your head all day.
"Keep on jumpin,
Let your body fly,
Everybody jumpin,
Til you see the sun in the sky,
Keep on jumpin,
Let your body fly,
Everybody jumpin,
Til the morning light"

Bitter Shaun Alexander Fan
I usually do not endorse burning things but I can understand the passion of this Seahawks fan.
I once chucked my Seven Iron into a pond and in college I wore a brown paper trash bag over my head to a Hawkeye football game with "Where's Stoops?" written across it.
Any fantasy owner who spent a top pick on Shaun Alexander this season only to watch him gingerly tote the rock before falling down for minimal gains over and over will enjoy this video too.
It is NSFW as FBombs are flying around like Eli Manning getting beat down in the pocket by the Cowboys on Sunday.
