I do not post many forward emails because they are either distasteful/unfunny jokes, dirty porn or distorted rants declaring that President Obama is the anti Christ.
However, I made an exception for this one.
A recent graduate of Iowa moved to Dearborn, Michigan when shelanded a great job with a company located there. After becoming a citizen of Michigan, she felt almost as if she had betrayed her Iowa background and ancestry. She had an apartment with a Michigan address, and she winced whenever she looked at her Michigan driver's license. When it came time to register her vehicle she had an idea. She'd get personalized plates and make things right.
The personalized license plate for her car arrived, and she beamed as she installed them. She was so proud she sent an instant message to her father right away. He too was a proud Iowa alumnus.
'Daddy,' she typed. 'I'm so excited! I got new, personalized plates for my Mini today. They're University of Michigan plates!'
'WHAT?' he replied, 'You have to be joking!'
'Nope, I'm totally serious. Let me send you the image.'
Her father couldn't stop laughing after he viewed the picture of her car.
"Betraying your Iowa ancestry" is a little too much Iowa pride for my tastes but I am thoroughly impressed with how she rolls now.
Personally, I would worked into mocking the hand on the plates because every Michigander that I have ever met loves to point out their hometown to each other on their hand. A tip for all those single dudes or philanders out there, poking fun at this weird hand obsession works great as an ice breaker in convos with women from Michigan.

Puschin' it to the Limit
A lil brew ha ha broke out at a high school in Michigan after the Senior class printed Tshirts that read "Puschin' It To The Limit" on the front and "Class of .08 Seniors" on the back, in reference to the legal blood-alcohol level for drivers.
It turns out these type of funny shirts are a long time school tradition and these school Administrators pretty much hate their lives/jobs. These nitwit "educators" are now threatening to ban students from prom and graduation commencement over this incident.
Good God. This shirt idea was pretty clever and High School is so freaking dumb. This principal, who most likely communicates to others the location of his Michigan hometown by pointing to a wrinkle spot on his hand, needs to chillax.
I feel these kids' pain. While in HS, I ran for class president and distributed stickers that read, "If it feels good, Do It, Vote Mac G for Prez." The school Admins did not enjoy my witty slogans and they temporarily suspended my campaign. I ended rolling up a big W in the primary but lost in the general election.
It was the best thing that ever happened to me because the winner now runs my high school reunions forever. Although I will be a GISH Islander until I die, spending my free time tracking down old classmates that I barely talked to in High School sounds as much fun as sitting through 'Sex and the City' movie premier. In other words, it would be simply miserable.
Potential phone conversations would exist of "How many kids do you have? Same Dad? Divorce does suck, Good to see you kicked the Meth habit, those 2 new Walmarts in town sure suck, so I hear Jeremy is still fighting Mexicans?"
Also, the class a year ahead of me voted Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the wall ("We Dont need No Education!)as their class song. The Principal had his own version of thought control by changing the song to another tune.
My advice to these high school kids is take whatever lumps they give you and do not fret as you will never have to put up with this type of silly authoritative crap in college.
Oh, go get crunked at your prom too and since you are well aware of the legal limit, do not drive hammered.

Hoya Ugg Poon

I attended the Georgetown/Michigan game last night at the Verizon Center. The game was over before I sat down and took the first sip out of my 7 dollar beer. The greatest perk about college teams playing in pro arenas is the ability to buy beer. Take that NCAA!
Anyway, Gtown smoked them and Michigan could not throw it in the Ocean. The Hoyas have way more polished athletes than the Wolverines. It looks like a long rebuilding season in Ann Arbor for first year coach John Beilen.
The game details are not really that important but what did impress me the most was the abundance of nice Hoya poon. I really underestimated Gtown's coeds.
Also, the new in style thing for girls is to wear these Ugg boots, no matter the outfit. Jeans, Skirt, you name it. Almost all the hot Hoya poon were wearing Uggs and I spotted other pretty ladies girls wearing them as well. I like this phenomenon as much as the short poofy skirts craze from a few years ago.
My cell phone needs a better a zoom and my poon ninja skills were off so I was unable to get any real good full poon shots. I did snap a picture as example of these Ugg boots.
Look around this weekend and tell me how many you spot. I smell they need for a nick name and possible blog for these sightings. Any takers? I have reached my pooner limit.
Happy Friday Fockers.
