President Obama attended Georgetown's bitch slapping of Duke on Saturday afternoon at the Verizon Center. The President held his own during an in game interview with CBS announcing team Clark Kellogg and Verne Lundquist. My favorite part was Obama buttering up Kellogg with praise and then immediately talking trash. Check out the classic off the cuff stuff from Prez #44.

Javale's Jam
Here is one of the few highlights coming out of a truly terrible Washington Wizards basketball squad this season. The rookie Javale McGree got all Gumby like on his sick cup dunk.
I will still get sucked in to watching the Wizards games in the evenings but I am ready for the Wiz to go in straight up NBA draft pick tank mode. Blake Griffin and Greg Monroe would be great choices and both posses much needed inside presence on the low block for this super soft team.

CROSS THE LINE!!
I watched De Sean Jackson catch a TD bomb and smirked to myself how savvy I was to pick up this fantasy stud rookie.
He dropped the ball too early and my double pointer TD was canceled out. MOTHER F ER!! My 2 teams still steamrolled but I like running up the score.
I was racking my THC laced membrane trying to figure out when was the last time I saw a player pull this jackass move. I remember Bengals WR Housh doing it at Oregon State vs Notre Dame in a bowl game. The other occurrence might have been De Sean Jackson in the major High School All Star game.
Jackson is still nasty but dude, cross the line!

Here are my thoughts on John McCain's speech last night in video form.
It is a real toss up to which was more boring last night, McCain's predictable "Noun, Verb, POW" speech or the second half of the Skins/Giants.

Bia and Branca
I need my boy Big Al to translate or actually I have no interest in their words at all.
HT: My Chill Pill
Big Al's translation:
Since I can't watch this at work, I just listened to the first part. Someone asked a question if people hook up at the Olympics. She gave an answer that people are focused etc on the sport, but things go down.
Mentioned that it's a great ratio for guys. Five girls to one guy. Said that the guys have their pick of any type of woman: Japanese, Egyptian, blondes, tans etc. Said that there are tons of twins. Then they started talking about each others' stomachs and I had to stop watching since I'm at work.

New Injury: WII Hip Flexor
During last Xmas break, I almost blew out my elbow battling my nephew in Wii sports. This video reveals a new potential Nintendo related injury: the Wii hip flexor.
Aside from wanting to buy the man who recorded this video and posted it on a Youtube a cold beverage or 20,I see endless possibilities with this type of proactive Wii sexual activity.
Instead of guys sulking or sneaking around after the significant other bans them from attending gentleman clubs, dudes can up the ante by making it rain in their own living room.
The guy saves mad loot, the woman gets some exercise, and hopefully mutual O faces occur. Win, Fn Win, happy endings for everyone. (Unless you lady is fat, prude and ugly, aka, the reason you have a reserved ring side seat at sniffer's row in the first place)
This Wii game could create a whole generation of aspiring strippers, who will be ready to show off their Wii skills at public poles everywhere.
And people say the terrorists won, BS.

Riding the Oh Face Train
I recently read that the average price of a gallon of gas in the US will rise to 5 dollars within a year and could get as high as 7 dollars in the next 2 years. If those high prices do not get you looking at different transportation options, this video sure will get you to consider mass transit.

Charley Hoffman=My Favorite New Golfer
My favorite new golfer is Charley Hoffman after he missed a gimme put on the 13th hole of The Player's Championship on Friday. Check out what transpired next and lets just say that Charley was not a happy camper.
Hoffman used a sand wedge and a hybrid club to putt for the final 5 holes. Hoffman's caddy's quote is classic.
"I had thoughts of diving in front of it,'' caddie Miguel Rivera said. "I did actually think about going in, but the water looked a little funky.'
Hoffman's actions was reminiscent of my own club tossing melt down at the 9th hole of GI(NE)Muni golf course while I was in high school. Not following the teachings of Tin Cup, I hurled my valuable 7 iron into a fareway water fountain. Even I though I still played like crap that day, it felt damn good.
Golf is the most perplexing and frustrating of leisure activities. It is supposed to provide relief to your stressful life but after snap hooking a drive or chunking an iron, my blood pressure will rise to unhealthy levels.
It refreshing to see that pros are not exempt from the weekend pain of sloshing through bad shots and dropping F Bombs like us regular schmucks experience out there on the course.
I know your agent, close members of your inner circle and the PGA probably disagree with your outburst but Mr. Charley Hoffman, you earned a new fan today.

Richie Sexson is a Punk
Mariners 1B Richie Sexson charges the mound after freaking out by a high fastball that was nowhere near his head. Rangers color man Tom Grieve deftly describes Sexson's cowardly act.
"That is a gutless six foot seven, 200 hitting, formerly good player, what a joke"
Sexson better be careful or the number one Rangers fan in America, President GW Bush, will sick the NSA on him for this punk behavior.

Death at the Derby
I watched Big Brown dominate the Kentucky Derby on Saturday and right afterwards I quipped about how the media's annual triple crown hype machine was now officially underway.
This storyline took a backseat as the place horse, Eight Belles, immediately was down on the track.
Initially, NBC reporters' were optimistic about the fillies injury and thought it could be a heart problem. The vets stoic response to Eight Belles' condition shocked me and I know fired up PETA's press operation.
WOW. The range of emotion from your horse being second place in the derby to death is whirlwind crazy.
Horses that get shocked and drugged piss me off more than having to make the difficult decision to put a horse down.
I grew up going to a track in Nebraska so I love horse racing. My mom worked part time there, resulting in me knowing how to exacta box horses before I learned the degrees of a right angle.
I hate crooked trainers/jockeys as well. (The CEO of the Nebraska track wrote my high journalism teacher a letter after I ripped the track in a high school newspaper column for being rigged.)
My most memorable story at my hometown horse track was getting into a screaming match with a jockey after I witnessed him during the homestretch, pull up the reins up on a heavily favored horse(1 to 2) he was riding to just finish 4th, out of the money and ruining all of my trifecta box bets.
I confronted the jockey while he was walking back to the paddocks and asked him how much he received by tanking.
The jockey responded to my criticism rather harshly, telling me that I needed to back to school. (I was a High School senior at the time, wisely enjoying my afternoons after class at the track. My favorite line to my friends was telling them that I was out for a spring sport, the horse track.)
Being a wise ass/know it all crude teenager, I repeatedly called him a crook and a midget. I thought about jacking the little hobbit but his eye level was below the 5 foot fence and I could not reach him.
My meat head friends did little to dose the altercation's flames and only encouraged my testosterone rage. Security eventually kicked me out and I never bet on a horse that swindler rode on again. Today, I hope he is struggling from his likely eating disorder and meth addiction.
True Story.
I apologize for the ramblings but hey, it is Monday and I thought it was much more entertaining of a story than discussing the ethical morality of horse racing.
In the upcoming weeks, the media and soap box pundits will provide ample coverage of that sanctimonious angle.

Leitch Entered the Bissinger Saw
(VIDEO DOWN BELOW)
To be honest to my readers, I met Deadspin's founder Will Leitch a few months ago on his book tour. He was insightful, funny, and overall, a very cool guy. We shared some beers and heaters. I read Deadspin but not faithfully everyday.
I just finished watching this HBO Bob Costas show on Sports Media where Leitch was on a panel with Browns WR Braylon Edwards and writer Buzz Bissinger, who penned the literary sports classic novel, "Friday Night Lights."
Costas starts off with a question to Leitch about the negative tone of sports blogs. Leitch refutes that there is nothing different on sports blogs that humans do not spout through spoken word in their normal daily lives.
Buzz begins the panel discourse with the following pompous comment toward Leitch that says all you need to know about Bissinger and his true intentions for appearing on this show.
"I want to interject that I think you are full of shit."
How do you have a reasonable discussion when a man starts the conversation with this low barb?
Bissinger continued to use profanity towards Will on several occasions and spewed the same old tired characterizations of all sports bloggers, which that they are idiots who can not write.
Leitch rose above Bissinger's bait of petty personal attacks and articulated his points quite well. Leitch is pretty in tuned to the role of sports blogs and fans. Deadspin's popularity and success is example enough.
Plus, Will correctly mentions that running a blog is hard Fn work and some bloggers (ME) do it as a hobby.
Costas and Bissinger seemed bizarrely confused as to the difference between the words of commenters and an author of a blog post.
Later, Costas raved about the need for the sports journalism profession and listed Woodward and Bernstein as an example. This analogy is just laughable in written word as it was on first Television consumption.
Bissinger closed the show by calling Leitch, "Jimmy Olson on percocet," and blamed his blog for the future dumbing down of America.
Yeah, it was a jaw dropping segment. Bissinger looked like a cranky old man with a serious axe to grind.
I could get all worked up at Bissinger and respond to his classless attacks on sports bloggers, however, why bother?
If people do not like Mac G's World, they can stop reading or click on somewhere else. It is that simple. "Blowhardinger" seems to miss this crucial point and is too busy having a corollary ("40 YEARS in this Business!") over lame dick jokes by commenters while hypocritically cussing up a storm himself on live TV.
I thought Andy Rooney was the face of the out of date, crusty media white man in media but Buzz Dickinger now has that notorious smug crown.
Gotta jam as it is time to take the NBC show "Friday Night Light's" off my NetFlix que.
Once I can locate some video, I will post it.
Blowhardinger fallout is slowing coming in and predictably, bloggers see the same senile old man.
